Quad core CPUs produce a more heat than the dual core CPU's so make sure you have some good cooling ... I will go for an Asus P35 chipset based mobo, or a P5B deluxe (very good motherboard for overclocking based P965) EDIT: dont go for a Nvidia mobo ... a terrible, variable and only good for SLI (sli sucks but still)
