We can see that a lot learned from American Indians and our own culture in our search for more information. But as such, the courage as Indian as an archer is very exaggerated. While the Indian people as A whole wonderful hunters, therefore a practical Archer, but is not really big on target from a sport perspective. In 1828 the United Bowmen of America is the first American Society of Archers in the United States. It was not until after the Civil War that was popularized Archery as a sport.
