SmartXide Dot Laser Therapy: Comparison of Old CO2 Laser Resurfacing

So it is performed while the patient is awake. Treatment is very controlled The use of fractional resurfacing procedures and has quickly; each treatment takes only 15-30 minutes. Downtime after the procedure was shortened, the most – people resuming normal activities within five to seven days. Most patients appear day burned for several weeks, but they will not have severe sloughing of skin problems or as with the Old CO2 Laser.

The system is actually controlled by a new technology called "fractional" technology. Rather than the entire surface of the skin healing from the inside out (ie total sloughing of skin outside), This fractional technology allows for healing of the skin by different processes.
The new "Dot" technology works by creating thousands of small holes in the skin down to a specified depth, set by the digital processor of the Laser. It destroys the abnormal skin on a controlled fashion and allows the normal intact area left to heal from the sides of small holes. The process of healing so happens, not from under skin up destroyed, like the Old ways, but especially in an oblique way.
The results so as striking, but the downtime is significantly reduced. Dot treated patients can go out in public in a few days after the Dot Laser treatment. The redness that usually last from 6 to nine months after the old CO2 method now usually lasts only for around seven to ten days with Dot Laser therapy. This redness can be covered up across a day or two after the procedure, which is different from the Old ways. So one can continue normal activities much faster. Plus, many potential complications that that occurred in Old CO2 scheme is unique.
Ultimately, the SmartXide Dot Laser is a new technology that provides the same excellent results that the old Gold standard CO2 laser but with less downtime and less problems. May reduce the signs of aging, such as skin fine lines, wrinkles, mild creases, and pigmentations with remarkable results compare with the Gold standard.
